You might also take a shot at running a scandisk for HD errors, defragging your HD, and adding the client directory as an exception for your antivirus software's active/realtime scan and scheduled scans. If you want to link to a dxdiag, hijackthis, and an output file from Speccy, I'd be happy to take a look at it. Then give it a good reboot and try again. (Option is found under advanced setup settings.) Personally, I would start by getting the latest video driver direct from your manufacturer and performing a "Clean Install". Offhand I think it was an issue with my audio device drivers, but it could just have easily been a video driver issue.
